For course creators

Build a course.
Keep it.

Anywhere there is ground worth running, there is a course in it. Draw the line, place the checkpoints, and it stays yours — whoever ends up running it.

Building

Draw it, test it, open it

The Studio is a map and a set of rules. You do not need to know what a geofence is.

A two-track through winter grass and bare trees
Draw

The line and the gates

Trace the route or upload a GPX, drop checkpoints on it, and set what each one asks of a runner. The map reads the ground for you — what grows there, how much it climbs.

Tune

What is out there

Decide whether anything hunts on your course, how sharp its nose is, and how stubbornly it holds a trail. Or leave the Veil off entirely and let it be a plain race.

Test

Run it before anyone else does

Simulate a field over your course and see where people bunch, where they get lost, and where the cutoff is unfair — before a real runner finds out.

Course rights

It stays yours

You spent months finding that line. Putting it on Spoor does not hand it to us, and it does not let somebody else quietly mount a race on top of it.

You own it

Nobody edits, moves or deletes your course but you. Bring co-creators and they author alongside you — without being able to transfer, sub-licence or delete it.

Lending is not giving

Let an organiser run events on it, on your terms and your share, for as long as you say. Revoking stops new events; it never kills one already selling entries.

Handing over is deliberate

A course only changes hands when the other person accepts it. Your existing race days stay yours, along with their money.

Charging

What it costs to build.

Creator membership is R99 a month and opens the whole Studio. Charging people to run is a separate permission, because that is where money starts.

R99

Everything that makes a course

A month of the full Studio: draw it, publish it, place creatures and zones, GPX tooling, course analytics, unlimited live courses — and everything a Runner gets, included.

Commercial

Only when you charge

An entry fee above zero needs a commercial creator licence — a record with a reason and an issuer, not a flag on a profile — and the platform fee is 15% per paid entry (minimum R15).

Either way

Safety is never behind it

SOS, escape points and field broadcast are free on every event, whether it costs a cent or not.

Anywhere there is ground

Make something

Tell us where you run and we will get you into the Studio.
