How it works

Choose it.
Run it. Survive it.

No fantasy map and no treadmill. You pick real ground, your phone becomes the instrument, and the world gets a say in how it goes.

Every run, in order

Four things happen

Nothing here needs you to look at a screen while you move. That is the design, not a feature.

01 · Before

Pick your ground

Distance, climb and cutoff stated up front. Every course was walked and marked by a person before a single checkpoint went on it.

02 · At the start

Get briefed

What is out there, what the weather is doing to your trail, and where the ways out are. Ninety seconds, then you go.

03 · Running

Listen, don't look

Checkpoints open and close as you reach them. The phone speaks — distance to the next one, what is behind you — so you can keep your eyes on the ground.

04 · After

Get the story

Written from your own track. Where you were caught, where you broke away, what the heat did to you.

The Veil

It hunts by breath

You shed asem whether you like it or not, and harder when you run harder. It drifts on the wind, sinks in the cool, and pools in the low ground.

Dawn is dangerous

Cool air holds your trail near the ground. A valley floor at first light is a basin of breath.

Midday burns it off

Heat lifts it off the deck. The worst hour to run in is the best hour to disappear in.

Water buys distance

Cross a river and your trail goes downstream without you. It does not lose you. It slows down what is following.

Checkpoints

Open, locked, or gone

A checkpoint is not a pin on a map. It has rules, and the rules are visible before you commit to it.

Open

Take it in any order

On a free-roam course everything open pulses. Which one you take is your call, and route choice is most of the game.

Locked

You clear it

Something you have not done yet — an earlier checkpoint, a distance, a time. It says which.

Closed

The world cleared it

A cutoff passed, or the course moved on. Marked with an ×, so you never run to something that is no longer there.
